Nilo Habibi, CPA, CGA

Nilo is the founder and owner of Matlen Services Inc. She brings over 25 years of accounting, tax compliance, and advisory expertise to the Firm. She earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto in 1999, followed by her CGA, CPA designation in 2004. With extensive leadership and team-building experience, she is dedicated to providing quality client service. She takes the time to truly get to know her clients and their businesses, delivering the best financial and accounting solutions for their needs.

She believes that when clients thoroughly understand their financial reports, they can make better decisions to grow their business and stay competitive. Her practice focuses mainly on owner-managed small and medium-sized businesses across various industries, including professional services, construction, retail, finance, healthcare, non-profits, etc.

Sonja Tromp

Sonja is our senior staff with over 35 years of experience in the accounting and bookkeeping area. She has experience in various industries including financial services, professional services firms and organizations, real estate, commercial and residential rentals, retail, non-profit organizations, investment holding companies, etc. She has been providing valuable services to our clients for almost a decade. Outside of work, Sonja enjoys playing soccer, golfing, camping, reading and just relaxing with her family and friends.

Vlada Berova, CPA

Vlada is our Senior CPA staff with over 9 years of experience in public practice and industry accounting. She has a Master's degree in Accounting and Auditing with extensive experience in full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and internal controls. She has strong background working with small and medium-sized businesses across various industries and has experience in preparing personal and corporate income tax returns. Outside of work, Vlada enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and exploring nature year-round, and maintaining an active lifestyle

Evana Hinostroza

Evana is a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper dedicated to helping small businesses keep their financial records spotless. A graduate with a Certificate in Bookkeeping, and pursuing the Accounting Certificate at UFV, she brings her organizational and numerical skills to the team. Outside of work, Evana is a crochet enthusiast who loves creating handmade dolls for her family and friends.
